In Friday's league contest, the host North Montgomery Chargin' Chargers basketball team scored a close 49-43 triumph over the Western Boone Stars.

The Chargin' Chargers now have a 9-14 record. They play next when they travel to Seeger for a non-league outing on Tuesday, February 3. North Montgomery will clash with a Patriots squad coming off a 45-31 league win over Attica (Attica, IN). The Patriots record now stands at 15-7.
