Nevada High School Basketball - North Tahoe overwhelmed by Pershing County

The Pershing County Mustangs bounced the visiting North Tahoe Lakers basketball squad by a final score of 47-24 in Friday's league outing.

Coming up next, the Mustangs play the West Wendover Wolverines (West Wendover, NV) in a 2A Northern bout, on Friday, February 6. Pershing County will attempt to move on its 21-5 season record. The Wolverines go into the bout with a 12-8 record after their 59-17 league win over Silver Stage (Silver Springs, NV).

With the loss, North Tahoe falls to 5-13 on the campaign. The Lakers host Oasis Academy (Fallon, NV) to play the Bighorns in a 2A Northern test on Saturday, January 31. The Bighorns come into the test with a record of 8-8. Oasis Academy lost 39-23 in their recent league test against Pershing County (Lovelock, NV)
