Arizona High School Basketball - Valley Vista triumphant over Shadow Ridge

The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Valley Vista Monsoon (Surprise, AZ) and the visiting Shadow Ridge Stallions (Surprise, AZ), observed Valley Vista's basketball team overwhelm Shadow Ridge by a margin of 65-27.

The Monsoon (12-7) will now prepare for their match against Millennium (Goodyear, AZ). The Tigers enter the non-league match with a 16-4 record. In their last match, Millennium overwhelmed Desert Vista (Phoenix, AZ), 76-50, in a league match.

The Stallions now own a 14-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tolleson for a 6A West Valley contest on Tuesday, February 3. Shadow Ridge will battle a Wolverines team coming off a 39-37 league win over West Point (Avondale, AZ). The Wolverines record now stands at 9-8.
