The Vanguard School Coursers (Colorado Springs, CO) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host La Junta Tigers (La Junta, CO), 70-31 in a league bout.

With the win, The Vanguard School upgrades its record to 13-1 on the season. The Coursers host Buena Vista (Buena Vista, CO) to clash with the Demons in a 4A/3A Tri-Peaks bout on Friday, February 2. The Demons go into the bout with a record of 10-5. Buena Vista won 57-40 in their recent league bout against Colorado Springs Christian (Colorado Springs, CO)

Next up, the Tigers clash with the St. Mary's Pirates (Colorado Springs, CO) in a 4A/3A Tri-Peaks bout, on Tuesday, February 6. La Junta will attempt to upgrade on its 4-13 season record.
