Maryland High School Basketball - Mt. Hebron tops Long Reach
January 31, 2024: Ellicott City, MD 21042 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Mt. Hebron Vikings (Ellicott City, MD) and the visiting Long Reach Lightning (Columbia, MD), saw Mt. Hebron's basketball squad knock off Long Reach by a count of 38-29.
With the victory, Mt. Hebron upgrades its record to 7-4 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Oakland Mills (Columbia, MD) to play the Scorpions in a Howard County challenge on Friday, February 2. The Scorpions come into the challenge with a record of 9-4. Oakland Mills won 68-53 in their recent league challenge against Atholton (Columbia, MD)
Next up, the Lightning play the Howard Lions (Ellicott City, MD) in a Howard County challenge, on Friday, February 2. Long Reach will attempt to upgrade on its 2-13 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 9-5 record after their 51-45 league loss to Reservoir (Fulton, MD).
