Smoky Hill Buffaloes (Aurora, CO) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Mullen Mustangs (Denver, CO), 78-48 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Smoky Hill upgrades its record to 9-8 on the year. The Buffaloes travel to Arapahoe (Centennial, CO) to face the Warriors in a 6A Centennial match on Wednesday, February 5. The Warriors enter the match with a record of 13-4. Arapahoe lost 64-54 in their recent league match against Grandview (Aurora, CO)

The Mustangs now sport a 8-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cherry Creek for a 6A Centennial match on Wednesday, February 5. Mullen will face a Bruins squad coming off a 66-45 league win over Cherokee Trail (Aurora, CO). The Bruins record now stands at 6-10.
