Louisiana High School Basketball - Gibsland-Coleman defeats Claiborne Christian
January 31, 2025: Gibsland, LA 71028 The Gibsland-Coleman Bulldogs (Gibsland, LA) basketball were winner over the visiting Claiborne Christian Crusaders (West Monroe, LA), 62-52 in Friday's league bout.
The Bulldogs now possess a 14-9 record. They play next when they travel to Saline for a C District 1 bout on Tuesday, February 4. Gibsland-Coleman will play a Bobcats team coming off a 51-31 league loss to Summerfield (Summerfield, LA). The Bobcats record now stands at 7-16.
With the loss, Claiborne Christian falls to 15-11 on the campaign. The Crusaders travel to D'Arbonne Woods (Farmerville, LA) to play the in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 4. The go into the bout with a record of 13-13. D'Arbonne Woods lost 56-43 in their recent league bout against Calvary Baptist Academy (Shreveport, LA)
