Texas High School Basketball - Southwest Legacy nips Southwest

In Friday's league contest, the host Southwest Legacy Titans basketball team scored a close 56-50 triumph over the Southwest Dragons.

The Titans (9-23) will now prepare for their contest against Jay (San Antonio, TX). The Mustangs go into the 5A Region IV District 28 contest with a 24-9 record. In their last contest, Jay nipped Winn (Eagle Pass, TX), 50-26, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Dragons battle the McCollum Cowboys (San Antonio, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 28 contest, on Tuesday, February 4. Southwest will attempt to better on its 11-23 season record. The Cowboys go into the contest with a 30-3 record after their 74-43 league win over Southwest Legacy (Von Ormy, TX).
