January 4, 2025: Newcastle, ME 04553 In Saturday's league test, the Lincoln Academy Eagles (Newcastle, ME) basketball squad trounced the visiting Mountain Valley Falcons (Rumford, ME), by a final score of 56-27.
Next, the Eagles clash with the Belfast Lions (Belfast, ME) in a non-league test, on Monday, January 6. Lincoln Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record. The Lions come into the test with a 5-3 record after their 51-49 non-league loss to Mount View (Thorndike, ME).
The Falcons (2-7) will now prepare for their test against Madison (Madison, ME). The Bulldogs come into the non-league test with a 3-4 record.
