The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Francis Parker Lancers (San Diego, CA) and the visiting Villa Park Spartans (Villa Park, CA), observed Francis Parker's basketball team knock off Villa Park by a score of 54-37.

The Lancers (9-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Victory Christian Academy (Chula Vista, CA). The Knights come into the non-league challenge with a 5-10 record. In their last challenge, Victory Christian Academy prevailed over Grossmont (El Cajon, CA), 59-49, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Spartans encounter the Sonora Raiders (La Habra, CA) in a Freeway challenge, on Friday, January 10. Villa Park will attempt to improve on its 15-4 season record.
