Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Boyd County Spartans (Spencer, NE) and the host Santee Warriors (Santee, NE), saw Boyd County's basketball squad overcome Santee by a tally of 54-34.

With the victory, Boyd County improves its record to 6-4 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Stuart (Stuart, NE) to confront the Broncos in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 7. The Broncos come into the challenge with a record of 5-6. Stuart lost 40-29 in their recent non-league challenge against Creighton (Creighton, NE)

Next up, the Warriors confront the St. Edward Beavers (St. Edward, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 8. Santee will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Beavers come into the challenge with a 0-10 record after their 38-33 league loss to Elba (Elba, NE).
