New York High School Basketball - Construction over Forest Hills
January 5, 2024: Queens, NY 11416 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Construction Red Hawks (Queens, NY) and the visiting Forest Hills Rangers (Forest Hills, NY), saw Construction's basketball squad overcome Forest Hills by a tally of 72-62.
With the victory, Construction improves its record to 11-1 on the campaign. The Red Hawks travel to Francis Lewis (Fresh Meadows, NY) to confront the Patriots in a PSAL AAAA Queens I challenge on Saturday, January 6. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 1-5. Francis Lewis lost 76-59 in their recent non-league challenge against Campus Magnet (Cambria Heights, NY)
Next up, the Rangers confront the Martin Falcons (Jamaica, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 11. Forest Hills will attempt to improve on its 5-5 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 0-8 record after their 90-68 non-league loss to Bowne (Flushing, NY).
