Minnesota High School Basketball - North Branch crushes Chisago Lakes Area
January 5, 2024: North Branch, MN 55056 North Branch Vikings (North Branch, MN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Chisago Lakes Area Wildcats (Lindstrom, MN), 76-43 in a league bout.
With the win, North Branch upgrades its record to 3-6 on the season. The Vikings travel to Cambridge-Isanti (Cambridge, MN) to play the Bluejackets in a AAAA Section 7 bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Bluejackets go into the bout with a record of 4-9. Cambridge-Isanti lost 58-47 in their recent non-league bout against Spring Lake Park (Spring Lake Park, MN)
Next up, the Wildcats play the Princeton Tigers (Princeton, MN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Chisago Lakes Area will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 3-6 record after their 66-32 non-league loss to Byron (Byron, MN).
