California High School Basketball - Mission San Jose knocked off by Freedom

The Freedom Falcons basketball team scored 44 points and held the host Mission San Jose Warriors to 28 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Friday.

The Falcons now sport a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Liberty for a contest on Tuesday, January 9. Freedom will battle a Lions team coming off a 35-11 non-league win over Granada (Livermore, CA). The Lions record now stands at 5-4.

The Warriors (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against American (Fremont, CA). The Eagles enter the contest with a 5-6 record. In their last contest, American ran past Notre Dame (San Jose, CA), 31-29, in a non-league contest.
