Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Emmaus tops Pocono Mountain West
January 6, 2023: Emmaus, PA 18049 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Emmaus Hornets (Emmaus, PA) and the visiting Pocono Mountain West Panthers (Pocono Summit, PA), saw Emmaus's basketball squad knock off Pocono Mountain West by a tally of 72-60.
With the victory, Emmaus improves its record to 9-2 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Pleasant Valley (Brodheadsville, PA) to play the Bears in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 5-6. Pleasant Valley lost 58-56 in their recent non-league challenge against Whitehall (Whitehall, PA)
Next up, the Panthers play the William Allen Canaries (Allentown, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 10. Pocono Mountain West will attempt to improve on its 7-2 season record. The Canaries come into the challenge with a 7-6 record after their 67-43 league win over Louis E. Dieruff (Allentown, PA).
