Shanley Deacons (Fargo, ND) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Wahpeton Huskies (Wahpeton, ND), 72-45 in a league bout.

With the win, Shanley upgrades its record to 3-5 on the season. The Deacons travel to Valley City (Valley City, ND) to clash with the Hi-Liners in a A East bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Hi-Liners go into the bout with a record of 1-8. Valley City won 76-38 in their recent non-league bout against Lisbon (Lisbon, ND)

Next up, the Huskies clash with the Red River Roughriders (Grand Forks, ND) in a A East bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Wahpeton will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record.
