Standley Lake Gators (Westminster, CO) fans left the game thrilled Friday as they witnessed their ice hockey team hold off the visiting Chatfield Chargers (Littleton, CO), 2-1 in a league match.

The Gators (6-2) will now prepare for their match against Doherty (Colorado Springs, CO). The Spartans enter the 5A Central match with a 2-3 record. In their last match, Doherty held off Pueblo County (Pueblo, CO), 6-1, in a non-league match.
