In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Ralston Valley Mustangs basketball team scored a good 55-40 win over the Broomfield Eagles.

The Mustangs (8-0) will now prepare for their contest against Smoky Hill (Aurora, CO). The Buffaloes come into the non-league contest with a 2-8 record. In their last contest, Smoky Hill was topped by Kuna (Kuna, ID), 62-43, in a non-league contest.

Next up, the Eagles face the Skyline Falcons (Longmont, CO) in a 6A/5A/4A Granite Peaks match, on Wednesday, January 7. Broomfield will attempt to advance on its 5-5 season record. The Falcons enter the match with a 1-6 record after their 56-50 non-league loss to Loveland (Loveland, CO).
