South Dakota High School Basketball - Lyman can't hold off Burke/South Central
January 7, 2020: Bonesteel, SD 57523 The Burke/South Central Cougars basketball team scored 38 points and restricted the visiting Lyman Raiders to 37 in the Cougars non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Cougars now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Andes Central/Dakota Christian for a B Region 6 contest on Thursday, January 9. Burke/South Central will battle a team coming off a 44-32 league loss to Gregory (Gregory, SD). The record now stands at 3-2.
The Raiders (6-3) will now prepare for their contest against Gregory (Gregory, SD). The Gorillas come into the non-league contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Gregory edged Andes Central/Dakota Christian (Lake Andes, SD), 44-32, in a league contest.
