South Loup (Arnold, NE) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Hershey Panthers (Hershey, NE), 44-29 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, South Loup upgrades its record to 8-1 on the campaign. The travel to Sandhills/Thedford (Dunning, NE) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 9. The Knights come into the bout with a record of 0-6. Sandhills/Thedford lost 39-14 in their recent non-league bout against Ansley/Litchfield (Ansley, NE)
