Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Carolina Mustangs Mustangs (Durham, NC) and the host Faith Christian Eagles (Ramseur, NC), saw Carolina Mustangs's basketball squad knock off Faith Christian by a count of 41-30.

With the victory, Carolina Mustangs upgrades its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to New Life Camp (Raleigh, NC) to play the Storm in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 14. The Storm come into the challenge with a record of 5-2.
