Georgia High School Basketball - Taylor County knocked off by Manchester

January 7, 2022: Manchester, GA 31816

The Manchester Blue Devils basketball team scored 63 points and held the visiting Taylor County Vikings to 49 in the Blue Devils league triumph on Friday.

The Blue Devils now sport a 13-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Harris County for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 8. Manchester will meet a Tigers team coming off a 70-57 league loss to Northside (Columbus, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 8-6.

The Vikings (5-9) will now prepare for their contest against Upson-Lee (Thomaston, GA). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 8-6 record. In their last contest, Upson-Lee was outscored by Peach County (Fort Valley, GA), 82-66, in a league contest.
