January 7, 2022: Canton, SD 57013 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Canton C-Hawks (Canton, SD) and the visiting Elkton/Lake Benton Elks (Elkton, SD), saw Canton's basketball squad overcome Elkton/Lake Benton by a tally of 65-47.
With the victory, Canton improves its record to 4-5 on the campaign. The C-Hawks travel to Tea (Tea, SD) to confront the Titans in a A Region 4 challenge on Monday, January 10. The Titans come into the challenge with a record of 2-5. Tea lost 68-58 in their recent non-league challenge against West Central (Hartford, SD)
Next up, the Elks confront the Hill City Rangers (Hill City, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 8. Elkton/Lake Benton will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record. The Rangers come into the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 58-54 non-league win over Spearfish (Spearfish, SD).
