January 7, 2023: Simsbury, CT 06070 The Simsbury Trojans ice hockey squad scored 7 points and restricted the visiting Notre Dame Catholic Lancers to 0 in the Trojans non-league victory on Saturday.
With the victory, Simsbury moves its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Wethersfield (Wethersfield, CT) to face the Eagles in a Central Connecticut - North contest on Wednesday, January 11. The Eagles go into the contest with a record of 3-4. Wethersfield won 10-3 in their recent non-league contest against Guilford (Guilford, CT)
The Lancers now sport a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they host Xavier for a Southern Connecticut - DI contest on Saturday, January 14. Notre Dame Catholic will face a Falcons squad coming off a 8-3 non-league win over St. Joseph (Trumbull, CT). The Falcons record now stands at 4-0.
