Arizona High School Basketball - Madison Highland Prep victorious over Arete Prep

In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Madison Highland Prep Heat basketball team scored a good 79-62 triumph over the Arete Prep CHARGERS.

The Heat (8-1) will now prepare for their contest against St. Johns (St. Johns, AZ). The Redskins go into the non-league contest with a 4-8 record. In their last contest, St. Johns was topped by Winslow (Winslow, AZ), 78-45, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the CHARGERS battle the San Carlos Braves (San Carlos, AZ) in a 2A East contest, on Friday, January 10. Arete Prep will attempt to better on its 9-7 season record. The Braves go into the contest with a 14-5 record after their 98-31 non-league win over BASIS Phoenix (Phoenix, AZ).
