The Jones County Coyotes basketball team scored 44 points and held the visiting Philip Scotties to 40 in the Coyotes league triumph on Friday.

The Coyotes now sport a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Colome for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 19. Jones County will meet a Cowboys team coming off a 63-37 league loss to Winner (Winner, SD). The Cowboys record now stands at 2-4.
