In Saturday's non-league outing, the Friend Bulldogs (Friend, NE) basketball squad beat the visiting McCool Junction Mustangs (McCool Junction, NE), by a margin of 59-46.

The Bulldogs (7-4) will now prepare for their outing against Dorchester (Dorchester, NE). The Longhorns go into the D2 District 2 outing with a 3-5 record. In their last outing, Dorchester was topped by Sterling (Sterling, NE), 53-15, in a non-league outing.
