The Virginia Episcopal School Bishops basketball team (Lynchburg, VA), was toppled 74-54 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Moravian Prep Lions (Hudson, NC)

The Lions now possess a 18-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Piedmont Classical for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 8. Moravian Prep will confront a Bobcats team coming off a 70-68 league win over Lake Norman Christian (Davidson, NC). The Bobcats record now stands at 14-11.

The Bishops (5-9) will now prepare for their battle against Blue Ridge (St. George, VA). The Barons come into the non-league battle with a 10-4 record. In their last battle, Blue Ridge was toppled by Centerville (Centerville, OH), 69-45, in a non-league battle.
