Illinois High School Basketball - Northside crushes Northtown
January 8, 2024: Chicago, IL 60625 Northside Mustangs (Chicago, IL) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Northtown Pumas (Chicago, IL), 73-49 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Northside upgrades its record to 8-9 on the campaign. The Mustangs host North Grand (Chicago, IL) to play the Eagle Owls in a Chicago Public - White North bout on Wednesday, January 10. The Eagle Owls come into the bout with a record of 4-7. North Grand lost 63-51 in their recent non-league bout against Bowen (Chicago, IL)
Next up, the Pumas play the Maine East Blue Demons (Park Ridge, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 13. Northtown will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Blue Demons come into the bout with a 11-7 record after their 88-70 league loss to Niles North (Skokie, IL).
