In Wednesday's non-league contest, the host Liberty Christian Lions basketball team scored a close 58-55 win over the Frankton Eagles.

The Lions (7-4) will now prepare for their contest against Anderson (Anderson, IN). The Indians come into the non-league contest with a 10-1 record. In their last contest, Anderson edged Pendleton Heights (Pendleton, IN), 70-52, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Pendleton Heights Arabians (Pendleton, IN) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 10. Frankton will attempt to better on its 3-6 season record. The Arabians come into the contest with a 4-6 record after their 70-52 non-league loss to Anderson (Anderson, IN).
