The Greenfield/Northwestern Tigers basketball team scored 32 points and limited the host Southwestern Piasa Birds to 27 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Tigers now possess a 3-10 record. They play next when they host Edinburg/South Fork for a non-league game on Thursday, January 9. Greenfield/Northwestern will play a Ponies team coming off a 50-42 non-league win over Illini Central/Greenview (Mason City, IL). The Ponies record now stands at 10-7.

With the loss, Southwestern falls to 6-8 on the campaign. The Piasa birds host Hillsboro (Hillsboro, IL) to play the Hiltoppers in a South Central game on Thursday, January 9. The Hiltoppers go into the game with a record of 10-6.
