The Cardinal Gibbons Crusaders basketball team scored 34 points and limited the visiting Panther Creek Catamounts to 22 in the Crusaders non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Crusaders now have a 7-4 record. They play next when they host Felton Grove for a Triangle Six 6A/7A outing on Friday, January 9. Cardinal Gibbons will clash with a Galaxy squad coming off a 47-45 non-league loss to Lee County (Sanford, NC). The Galaxy record now stands at 1-10.

The Catamounts (6-8) will now prepare for their outing against Apex (Apex, NC). The Cougars enter the Quad City Seven 8A outing with a 9-5 record. In their last outing, Apex was defeated by Green Level (Cary, NC), 67-19, in a league outing.
