The Brooks County Trojans basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Irwin County Indians to 46 in the Trojans league triumph on Saturday.

The Trojans now sport a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lanier County for a A Public Region 2 contest on Tuesday, January 12. Brooks County will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 83-74 league win over Clinch County (Homerville, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-2.

The Indians (4-4) will now prepare for their contest against Turner County (Ashburn, GA). The Rebels enter the A Public Region 2 contest with a 7-3 record. In their last contest, Turner County ran past Atkinson County (Pearson, GA), 52-49, in a league contest.
