The Staples Wreckers basketball team (Westport, CT), was nudged 55-50 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting New Canaan Rams (New Canaan, CT)

The Rams now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Norwalk for a Fairfield County battle on Friday, January 12. New Canaan will battle a Bears team coming off a 29-26 league loss to Wilton (Wilton, CT). The Bears record now stands at 3-5.
