The Buckeye Hawks basketball team scored 56 points and limited the visiting Desert Edge Scorpions to 32 in the Hawks league triumph on Thursday.

The Hawks now possess a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North for a non-league match on Wednesday, January 15. Buckeye will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 66-32 league win over Fairfax (Laveen, AZ). The Mustangs record now stands at 14-3.

The Scorpions now own a 2-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Willow Canyon for a non-league match on Wednesday, January 15.
