Gilbert Indians (Gilbert, SC) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Midland Valley Mustangs (Graniteville, SC), 42-39 in a league match.

With the victory, Gilbert advances its record to 3-11 on the year. The Indians travel to Brookland-Cayce (Cayce, SC) to face the Bearcats in a AAAA Region 4 match on Tuesday, January 14. The Bearcats enter the match with a record of 8-7. Brookland-Cayce lost 51-37 in their recent league match against Aiken (Aiken, SC)
