January 9, 2025: Cameron, LA 70631 In Thursday's non-league test, the Johnson Bayou Rebels (Cameron, LA) basketball squad got by the visiting Welsh Greyhounds (Welsh, LA), by a score of 40-34.
Next, the Rebels encounter the Singer Hornets (Singer, LA) in a C District 5 test, on Friday, January 10. Johnson Bayou will attempt to improve on its 13-6 season record. The Hornets come into the test with a 11-7 record after their 39-28 non-league win over Lake Charles College Prep (Lake Charles, LA).
The Greyhounds (4-11) will now prepare for their test against Hackberry (Hackberry, LA). The Mustangs come into the non-league test with a 7-12 record. In their last test, Hackberry held off Vinton (Vinton, LA), 40-37, in a non-league test.
