Iowa High School Basketball - Riceville knocks off Turkey Valley
January 9, 2025: Jackson Junction, IA 52171 In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Riceville Wildcats basketball team scored a good 37-25 win over the Turkey Valley Trojans.
The Wildcats (9-1) will now prepare for their contest against Osage (Osage, IA). The Green Devils come into the non-league contest with a 3-5 record. In their last contest, Osage was topped by West Fork (Sheffield, IA), 47-31, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Trojans battle the Postville Pirates (Postville, IA) in a Upper Iowa contest, on Friday, January 10. Turkey Valley will attempt to better on its 6-3 season record. The Pirates come into the contest with a 0-10 record after their 81-10 non-league loss to Crestwood (Cresco, IA).
