October 1, 2024: Marriottsville, MD 21104 Marriotts Ridge (Marriottsville, MD) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Long Reach Lightning (Columbia, MD), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Marriotts Ridge improves its record to 1-1 on the season. The travel to Atholton (Columbia, MD) to face the Raiders in a non-league test on Monday, October 7. The Raiders go into the test with a record of 5-2. Atholton won 2-0 in their recent league test against Guilford Park (Jessup, MD)
The Lightning now own a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oakland Mills for a test on Friday, October 4.
