Illinois High School Soccer - Chicago Mt. Carmel nudges Quincy Notre Dame
October 2, 2021: Chicago, IL 60637 Chicago Mt. Carmel Caravan (Chicago, IL) fans were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Quincy Notre Dame Raiders (Quincy, IL), 4-3 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Caravan confront the Loyola Academy Ramblers (Wilmette, IL) in a Chicago Catholic challenge, on Tuesday, October 5. Chicago Mt. Carmel will attempt to better on its 10-3 season record. The Ramblers enter the challenge with a 9-2 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to St. Francis de Sales (Toledo, OH).
The Raiders now have a 11-4 record. They take the field next when they host East Moline United for a non-league challenge on Monday, October 4. Quincy Notre Dame will confront a Panthers team coming off a 7-0 non-league loss to Boylan Catholic (Rockford, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 2-6.
