October 2, 2025: El Cajon, CA 92021 The Helix Highlanders (La Mesa, CA) football trounced the host Grossmont Foothillers (El Cajon, CA), 36-0 in Thursday's non-league outing.
The Highlanders now sport a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to El Capitan for a non-league outing on Thursday, October 9. Helix will clash with a Vaqueros squad coming off a 26-12 non-league win over Steele Canyon (Spring Valley, CA). The Vaqueros record now stands at 6-1.
With the defeat, Grossmont drops to 3-3 on the campaign. The Foothillers travel to Santana (Santee, CA) to clash with the Sultans in a outing on Thursday, October 9.
