October 2, 2025: Oakland, ME 04963 Gardiner Tigers (Gardiner, ME) boosters exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Messalonskee Eagles (Oakland, ME), 3-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Gardiner moves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Tigers host Erskine Academy (South China, ME) to clash with the Eagles in a Class B - North test on Tuesday, October 7. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 4-2. Erskine Academy won 4-0 in their recent league test against Cony (Augusta, ME)
The Eagles now sport a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they host Mt. Ararat for a Class A - North outing on Saturday, October 4.
