Arkansas High School Football - Bearden prevails Baptist Prep
October 3, 2025: Bearden, AR 71720 In Friday's league challenge, the host Bearden Bears football team scored a nice 30-15 win over the Baptist Prep Eagles.
In their next game, the Bears play the Clarendon Lions (Clarendon, AR) in a 2A Region 4 challenge, on Friday, October 10. Bearden will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Lions go into the challenge with a 0-5 record after their 49-0 league loss to Carlisle (Carlisle, AR).
The Eagles (1-4) will now prepare for their test against England (England, AR). The Lions come into the 2A Region 4 test with a 2-3 record. In their last test, England knocked off Hazen (Hazen, AR), 40-28, in a league test.
