The Weaver Beavers football squad scored 25 points and limited the host Coginchaug Regional/East Hampton/Hale Ray Blue Devils to 23 in the Beavers league triumph on Friday.

The Beavers now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cromwell/Portland for a Pequot - Sassacus challenge on Friday, October 10. Weaver will face a Panthers team coming off a 49-14 league win over Morgan/Old Saybrook/Westbrook (Clinton, CT). The Panthers record now stands at 4-0.
