The Meridian Trojans (Bellingham, WA) football trounced the host King's Way Christian Knights (Vancouver, WA), 49-7 in Friday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Trojans battle the Mt. Baker Mountaineers (Deming, WA) in a 1A Northwest game, on Friday, October 10. Meridian will attempt to advance on its 5-0 season record. The Mountaineers go into the bout with a 4-1 record after their 46-39 league win over Nooksack Valley (Everson, WA).

The Knights now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Stevenson for a 1A Trico bout on Friday, October 10. King's Way Christian will battle a Bulldogs squad coming off a 32-0 league loss to Kalama (Kalama, WA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-3.
