The Sierra Chieftains football team (Tollhouse, CA), was crushed 40-6 in Friday's non-league bout with the host McFarland Cougars (McFarland, CA)

The Cougars (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Parlier (Parlier, CA). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Parlier was trounced by Yosemite (Oakhurst, CA), 28-27, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Chieftains battle the Fresno Christian Eagles (Fresno, CA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, October 10. Sierra will attempt to better on its 1-6 season record. The Eagles enter the contest with a 6-0 record after their 48-22 non-league win over Cornerstone Christian (Antioch, CA).
