Colorado High School Flag Football - Wheat Ridge crushed by Standley Lake

October 3, 2025: Wheat Ridge, CO 80033

The Standley Lake Gators walloped the host Wheat Ridge Farmers flag football squad by a margin of 70-0 in Friday's league test.

The Gators now sport a 5-7 record. They take the field next when they host Steamboat Springs for a 4A Jeffco test on Saturday, October 4. Standley Lake will meet a Sailors squad coming off a 33-0 league loss to Green Mountain (Lakewood, CO). The Sailors record now stands at 3-6.

With the defeat, Wheat Ridge drops to 0-12 on the campaign. The Farmers host Pomona (Arvada, CO) to meet the Panthers in a 4A Jeffco test on Saturday, October 4. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 11-1. Pomona won 42-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Mountain Range (Westminster, CO)
