Missouri High School Football - Roosevelt/Carnahan can't hold off Crystal City
October 4, 2024: Crystal City, MO 63019 Crystal City Hornets (Crystal City, MO) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team tip the visiting Roosevelt/Carnahan (St. Louis, MO), 22-20 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Crystal City advances its record to 2-4 on the season. The Hornets travel to Duchesne (St. Charles, MO) to play the Pioneers in a Freelance battle on Friday, October 11. The Pioneers go into the battle with a record of 1-5. Duchesne lost 46-16 in their recent non-league battle against Jennings (Jennings, MO)
The now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they host Lift for Life Academy for a non-league battle on Saturday, October 12. Roosevelt/Carnahan will play a team coming off a 52-50 non-league win over Normandy (St. Louis, MO). The record now stands at 3-3.
