California High School Football - Nevada Union thwarted by Placer

October 4, 2024: Grass Valley, CA 95945

Placer Hillmen (Auburn, CA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Nevada Union Miners (Grass Valley, CA), 48-21 in a league battle.

With the win, Placer improves its record to 6-1 on the season. The Hillmen host Twelve Bridges (Lincoln, CA) to play the Raging Rhinos in a Foothill Valley battle on Friday, October 18. The Raging Rhinos go into the battle with a record of 6-0.

The Miners now have a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to Twelve Bridges for a Foothill Valley battle on Friday, October 11. Nevada Union will play a Raging Rhinos team coming off a 56-0 league win over Yuba City (Yuba City, CA). The Raging Rhinos record now stands at 6-0.
