Washington High School Football - Mount Tahoma defeats Lincoln

The crowd at Saturday's league contest between the Mount Tahoma T-Birds (Tacoma, WA) and the host Lincoln Abes (Tacoma, WA), witnessed Mount Tahoma's football squad topple Lincoln by a count of 28-7.

The T-Birds (5-0) will now prepare for their contest against Bellarmine Prep (Tacoma, WA). The Lions enter the 3A Puget Sound - Narrows battle with a 4-1 record. In their last battle, Bellarmine Prep overcame Central Kitsap (Silverdale, WA), 38-0, in a league battle.

The Abes now own a 2-3 record. They play next when they host Silas for a 3A Puget Sound - Narrows battle on Friday, October 10. Lincoln will encounter a Rams team coming off a 35-8 league loss to Gig Harbor (Gig Harbor, WA). The Rams record now stands at 3-2.
